Haha, I never post in this, do I?

That's okay, I doubt anyone reads it.

Anyway, yeah, still way behind on my to do list. Got sick, got bummed, got a lot of things. And work sucks.

But beyond that, I'm in a good mood. That whole rantyness back in November about not feeling like I've been progressing and what not. Well, I feel like, at least temporarily, I'm out of my funk. I'm really happy with the way my colored pencil skills are progressing, and it's a lot less stressful or time consuming than CG. Actually, I think that was a lot of the problem. I like CGing, mind you, but it always takes me a lot of time. And when I get little feedback or negative feedback (without advice for improvement), it just got a bit old and not worth it.

That, and I think the Samus pic I finished last month really helped. Why? Because it was a picture for ME. Not for someone else, not for a class. No pressure. Just a fun pic of a character I REALLY enjoy.

So hopefully I'll jump back into the swing of things, art-wise.

Stuff I'm working on:
Pic for Yume for 1000th hit - I actually had one almost done in watercolor, but I never finished it because the background didn't turn out how I wanted, so I'm starting over, in colored pencil.
Pic for Zhey - mixed emotions about the one I started, so I left that at a standstill. Did a sketch for him (it's in scraps), and not sure what I'm doing with the first one.
2 outstanding Gaia obligations - almost done with Lliandra's pic, at a standstill with Kamiki's, but working on it.

I don't really have an order I do things in, because if I stress out over one pic, it doesn't turn out well. So if I'm having problems, I move to another pic.

If you don't mind the wait, I'll do a single character chibi for 10 dollars or 10-15K in Gaia gold. Colored pencil only.
